My name is Daniel Eskildsen and I'm a Game / Level Design living on Fyn, Denmark. I’m an avid gamer, who's been lucky enough to have been able to work on games professionally for over 9 years. I have 4 major releases under my belt, as well as other projects and smaller games.

I'm a curious and hard-working person who's passionate about learning new things and likes solving problems within constraints and I take pride in being friendly, down-to-earth and productive.

Expeditions: Rome PC

Worked on game design from the ground up during its first year, as well as creating art assets, levels and VFX.

Big Ocean Window PC

2018

Brought in to help lift the visuals of Big Ocean Window Exhibit at Nordsøens Oceanarium. Worked on VFX and Shaders, as well as Scene and Lighting setup.

TimeGuards iOS

2018

Brought in late in production to help finish and ship it. Worked on gameplay scripting and level design, as well as recreating the entire tileset for the last level.

Expeditions: Viking PC

2015 - 2017

Worked on the game design from the ground up, as well as creating a lot of the levels, art assets and VFX. Also contributed to the UI design and art, as well as gameplay scripting and some minor writing.

Clandestine PC

2013 - 2015

Worked on creating more than half of the levels, as well as a lot of the art assets and VFX in the game. Also contributed to the game design as well as some minor UI work.

Expeditions: Conquistador PC, Mac & Linux

Apr 2012 - May 2013

Created the majority of the levels and environment art for the game, as well as most of the VFX. Contributed to the UI design as well as some minor writing.

Conquistador Windows Phone

Created the world maps for the game, as well as most of the UI assets. Contributed with writing, scripting and sound as well.

2018 - 2019

Worked primarily on level design and on some of the rooms onboard the flying ship where you talk to people. Contributed to setting up materials and different versions of existing assets as needed.
